Course Overview

During the Term 2 (10 weeks) January 2024 – March you will learn how to:
Create a quirky, fun Cartoon Cake. This is a growing design trend suitable for all ages.
Make a beautiful a Peony and Lily of the Valley floral spray
Learn about piping and using a palette knife to create petals and leaves, this can be done using Royal Icing or Buttercream
You will need to purchase equipment and ingredients through this course to complete the topics. Each week I will tell you what you will need for the following week. I will post the full terms topics and equipment needed in the classroom at the start of term, so that you will know what to buy.
All classes are online for the moment. You will be invited to join a Google Classroom and a Google Meet a few days before the class, so it is very important that you give a current email address. I use 2 cameras so that you will get a really good view of everything I do in class and you will also have access to a video of the demonstration for reference. Learners have found this invaluable especially if they miss a class.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.
