Course Overview

Course Overview
This is an online course. This a free-flowing and intuitive drawing class open to all. The focus is essentially ‘guided doodling’ where your own unique creative flow takes centre stage, and you simply have to get out of your own way and trust the process! You will be guided by Alison, (an artist with a doctorate in visual effects and creative approaches), through a series of instructions, accompanied by musical inspiration, which will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and discover (or rediscover) your playfulness, your unique artistic expression and tap into your childhood curiosity, with the focus on the process of creating and not on a pre-determined outcome. Not only will this class get your creative juices flowing, it is also very meditative, and wonderful for your mental and emotional health and well-being. Join me to discover your own unique creative voice without limit, and give yourself permission to break out of ‘should’ and instead embrace ‘could’, by work intuitively and mindfully to unleash the creativity within. Materials needed: - pens, pencils, felt-tips, crayons, chalks, pastels, paints and anything and everything you can possibly draw or paint with! - Something to draw/paint on: paper/cardboard/wall-paper lining etc. NOTE: Don’t use anything you feel precious about as that pressure will stump your creativity!!!
