Course Overview
This is a 33 week course, which consists of three 11 week terms.

• Improve skills and make strong connections to imagery, abstract or representational.

• Understand colour theory and extend your drawing and painting skills.

• Introduce beginners to some basic drawing & painting skills.

• Guide intermediate and more advanced learners through some new or occasionally used, drawing and painting methods.

• Learners will also receive individual guidance and help in developing a personal style.

• An interest in Art and a willingness to learn are more important than initial skills or experience.

• The course is open to people of all levels of achievement from beginners to the more accomplished artist.

• Photocopying will be charged at 5p per copy.

• Students will be expected to bring their own art materials to the class

What should I bring to the first lesson?
• For beginners, an A3 sketchbook of medium weight cartridge paper (140grams) or sheets of cartridge paper , a 4B pencil, an eraser (preferably a putty rubber) and a pencil sharpener,

• For intermediate and advanced students, your own preferred materials and any work recently completed.
