Course Overview

Course Overview
This is a 30 week course, which consists of three 10 week terms.

You will develop your spoken French by conversing on a variety of topics.

You will know more about the culture, history, current affairs and other aspects of the French-speaking world.

You will increase your vocabulary and consolidate your grammatical knowledge.

You will interact with your tutor and your peers in a number of ways – in whole-group discussions and activities as well as conversations in pairs or small groups.

A brand-new programme is designed each term by your tutor, to keep the topics up-to-date.

Although your own access to the internet isn’t essential, it will be useful, for example to do some research at home into the topics studied in class. However, if you don’t have internet access, your tutor will do her best to help you. It is perfectly possible to benefit fully from this course without having access to the internet.
