Course Overview
This is a 30 week course, which consists of three 10 week terms.

• Provide leaners with an opportunity to develop and refine their experience of drawing and watercolour practice.

• Develop creative and technical skills with a variety of media to include: soft and oil pastel, pencil, charcoal drawing, pen and wash and waterolour.

• The course will provide an encouraging, stimulating and fast-paced working environment with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

• An interest in painting and drawing together with any related creative experience.

• This course is ideally suited to people who enjoy a very diverse and dynamic programme of teaching, with an underlying commitment to the rudiments of drawing and painting practice.

Additional Costs
• Your tutor will collect £3 from each learner at the start of the year to help towards photographic resources used throughout the course. This payment also helps to cover all black and white photocopies given out during the year.

• All learners are required to fund their own art materials.

• A variety of materials will be required for each session. For new learners, please contact Severn Road Centre for a list of materials as suggested by the tutor.

• There are some good art supplies retailers in Cardiff including; The Range - Newport Road, Inkspot - Newport Road, Hobby Craft - Leckwith Retail Park, and Pen and PAper - Cardiff City Centre. Aletrnatively, you might like to shop online - www.jacksonart.com are good.
