Drawing and Watercolour - Google Classrooms On this course we will dip into a variety of drawing and watercolour projects on a week by week basis. Your tutor, Vaughan, will deliver a short demonstration to your group at the start of the live session, followed by an opportunity to engage with the project at home, whilst receiving guidance, advice and tips as you work. We will cover several areas of subject matter including, aspects of land/seascape, portraiture, animal sketching and still life. As the weeks progress, we will use a variety of different media, to include watercolour, soft pastel, pen and ink and charcoal.

Drawing and Watercolour Materials

Good quality watercolour paper - 140lb NOT Surface or ROUGH.
Watercolour paints - Winsor and Newton or similar - tubes.
Selection of watercolour brushes - medium to large in size
Drawing board, masking tape, water spray mister, Masking Fluid
Set of GOOD QUALITY soft pastels - Senellier/ Faber Castell/Rembrandt etc
Box of charcoal - medium/large sticks
Black waterproof ink
Set of sketching pencils, paper for drawing.
